Lawmaker Lauds Amaechi’s Choice Of Protocol Officer
Rivers State House of Assembly member representing Bonny Constituency, Hon. Aye Atamah Pepple has applauded the appointment of Hon. Henry Halliday as Chief of Protocol Government House.
Speaking to newsmen Hon Pepple described Halliday’s appointment as well deserved call to service, commending the Rivers State Governor for demonstrating foresight, leadership wisdom and commitment towards impacting positively on the lives of the people of Bonny Local Government Area and the state by the appointment.
He described Halliday as a gentleman with an impeccable character, expressing confidence in his sterling leadership qualities and assuring that the former Bonny Care Taker Committee (CTC) chairman will effectively, discharge the responsibilities assignment.
Congratulating Hon. Halliday on his appointment into such an exalted position, he said “Henry Halliday is not just a friend but also a brother of whom I hold in high esteem I have confidence in his ability to deliver on assignments of this magnitude.
Pepple also thanked the executive governor of the state for finding an Ibani man worthy for such appointment saying it goes to show the governors affection for the people of the area.
He also urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the job, while praying God Almighty to grant him the needed wisdom, strength and courage to perfectly carry out his responsibility. “I know the office of the Chief of protocol comes with enormous challenges, however I believe the mandate of the office will be realised and even surpassed with Halliday in the helm of affairs” he concludes.
