The EYC chairman stated that government at all levels particularly the present administration in Etche Local Government Council led by Hon Reginald Ukwuoma has laudable programmes on youth development but remarked that it was only when the youths were organised and peacefully disposed that they could make the best out of such programmes.

He said in discharging their roles, they must show maturity in approach to issues and show respect to elders and constituted authorities.
The Ogbakor Mba chairman explaind that the members of the youth executive were carefully selected by the three autonomous communities involved and expressed confidence that the idea of setting up a central youth executive would foster unity and accelerate development.
