Late Mrs Becky Tew To Be Interred ‘Morrow
The remains of young business woman and Christian leader of the Assemblies of God Church, Port Harcourt, Late Mrs. Becky Okwuchi Tew will tomorrow be committed to mother earth, at Omoku, Ogaba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Aged 47, Late Tew died in Port Harcourt on Easter Monday after a brief illness. Born in Cameroun to Late Pa Eric and Mrs. Monica Ekezie of Ndiama Ezeoku in Nsu, Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Late Mrs. Tew completed her secondary education at Ochaja Girls Secondary School, Kogi State in 1982 and later tied the nuptial knots with Port Harcourt-based business man, Mr. Alex Tew, elder brother of The Tide Production Editor, Mr. Victor Tew.
A statement by the husband says the body of Late Mrs Tew would leave the Military Hospital Mortuary, Port Harcourt at 10a.m on Saturday, May 5, this year for her husband’s home town, Omoku.
The body, the statement added, would lie in state at 12noon same day at her husband’s residence, No. 2 Ifeanyi Okiasi Street, off Obor Road, Omoku, to be followed by Open Air Service and interment.
The Tide gathered that a Service of Songs was held Thursday at her Woji residence in Port Harcourt where sympathisers described the Late Mrs Tew as a very humble, God-fearing and dutiful wife and mother whose rare Christian life endeared her to many who came across her.
