My peace of mind is
the story of a selfish woman who loves to control the affairs in her home, but she gets a rude awakening at the end of the day.
She was married to a man who was once wealthy, but as things turned around, she confirmed in her revolt whenever she wanted anything and he could not provide for her. Driven by her greed and encouraged by her mother, she ends up walking out of the marriage.
She hoped to find another wealthy man by so doing but events did not play out as she expected. The movie is a reflection of society and a lesson to all. It is filled with drama, suspense and emotional revelations.
It stars Kenneth Okonkwo, Ngozi Ezeonu and Browny Igboegwu, among others.
Black Silhouette: The movie shows how a young girl struggles to feed her family. A young girl (ivie Okujaye) working in a brothel to take care of her family takes interest in an older doctor who at first shows no interest in her, however, he ends up changing her life in ways she could have never imagined.
The movie centres on how Senator Maro Oti( played by Joke Silva) is about to make history as the first female Governor in Nigeria.
Despite her husband’s disapproval, she fixes an appointment with internationally acclaimed Biographer, Eric Mobumba (Ik Osakioduwa) and requests that he writes her memoir.
Eric Mobunba is elated at the opportunity but his excitement however starts to dwindle as Senator Maro’s tale of her past reveals a life of sexual abuse from childhood, prostitution as a teenager and an unresolved murder.
The black Silhouette featured top Nollywood stars such as Joke Silva, Ik Osakioduwa, Ivie Okujaye, Jude Orhorha etc.

The movie is a story of love, truth and fight for survival in the face of corruption and death, produced by Nollywood actress Uru Eke. The movie is set to hit the cinemas come March 18, 2016.
The movie boasts of a fine line up of top names in Nollywood from Victor Olaotan to OC Ukeje, Femi Jacobs, Eyinna Nwigwe and Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah among others.
Produced by Uru Eke and directed by Izu Ojukwu, Remember me is the story of a young lady, Harrida and her fiancé, David, who are caught up in a web of confusing issues that almost result in the death of Harrida.
Popular businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, has said that his relationship with singer Davido is beyond money and gossip.
He stated this in a recent interview with BBC Igbo.
“Davido is my friend. He is my in-law; he married Chioma who is from Imo State where I hail from.
“So the relationship I have with Davido is beyond money and gossip,” he said.
DAILY POST reports that Chief Priest disclosed via his Instagram page that his outfit for the wedding of the singer, Davido and his wife, Chioma, in Lagos on Tuesday cost seven million Naira.
The socialite recently appreciated Davido for not “discarding” Chioma.
He stated that the DMW boss has made Imo State proud by choosing to marry from the state.

Five people were shot dead and dozens wounded after police clashed with protesters who stormed the parliament building in Nairobi on Tuesday, according to Amnesty Kenya.

Famous Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido was spotted among other top artistes at Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour concert in Atlanta, Georgia.
Asake’s performance at his sold-out show at the 17,000-capacity State Farm Arena in Atlanta began on August 16, 2024, and is set to run for 10 days.
In a trending video on social media, Davido appeared backstage with American rapper Quavo to support Asake during the live performance.
Other musicians in attendance included Nigerian hitmaker Zlatan and American rapper Russ Millions.
The Tide’s source reports that Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour is set to cover six U.S. cities, where he will headline notable venues including Madison Square Garden in New York, the Toyota Center in Houston, and the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Asake’s tour comes just days after the release of his latest hit, ‘Lungu Boy,’ which features several superstars, including Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, Travis Scott and Brazilian singer Ludmilla.
‘Lungu Boy’ set a new record for the biggest opening week on Spotify Nigeria, garnering 18.9 million streams in its opening week and breaking the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s ‘Timeless.’
