RSNC Partners Agencies For Service Delivery
Management of the Rivers State Newspaper corporation has pledged to partener with relevant organisations to improve the quality of service delivery in the state.
General Manager of the corporation, Chief Ernest Chinwo, said this during the corporation management’s visit to the Government Craft Development Centre, Aba Road Port Harcourt.
He said the corporation and the school can partner in various areas such as printing and publication as well as industrial training of students.
“We are more than newspaper we do more than that, there is no aspect of printing that we are not into. We print both commercial jobs and of course government jobs”, he said.
Chinwo said the corporation and the centre can also work together in the area of engineering and electrical works.
“ We know that this school has a lot to contribute, be it mechanical or electrical. So, in an aspect of our technical works, there are things that we need to partner with this school so there are a lot we think we can partner together”, he said, commending the school’s management for ensuring that the institution maintained its standard.
Responding, the principal of the school, Mr Emeka Elijah Uzah, thanked the management of the corporation for its willingness to partner with the school.
Uzah said the school had received several delegations expressing their willingness to partner with it. He said the school is well placed to assist in youth development noting that some former students of the centre are now contributing meaningfully to the society in the area of technical education.
