Cleric Sues For Unity As Church Celebrates Feast Of Passover In PH

Thousands of members of the Order of Abraham Ministry, popularly known as “Abrahamism”, in Rivers State had joined their counterparts across the world to celebrate the feast of the Passover.
Addressing newsmen during the event in Port Harcourt, Prmate of the order, His Grace, Primate Simeon Ezenna Iwueke, said the event was observed by those who believed in the concept of Abrahamism across the world.
He said the feast of the Passover was the only event celebrated by Jesus Christ, adding that Christ also instructed his disciples to celebrate it after him.
According to him, Abrahamism believes in the unity of the world, stressing that if the world must be free from the current ethnic and religious crisis, it must adopt the concept of Abrahamism.
Primate Iwueke said Abrahamism believes in religious tolerance and love for humanity, adding that the Abrahamic faith is the only antidote for world peace.
He said the faith also emphasizes on tolerance and obedience to God Almighty.
“People must have fear of God and leaders without fear of God cannot lead well.
“If all the leaders have fear of God, this country will move forward”, he said.
Iwueke stressed the need for the concept of Abrahamism to be inculcated in the psyche of Nigerians in order for them to emulate the life of father Abraham.
“Abrahamism should be inculcated in the nation for people to understand how Abraham worshiped God.
“If we are children of Abraham,we must do what Abraham did. He never killed and was not destructive”, he said.
The cleric also canvassed for unity between Christians and Muslims since both followers are from the same source.
He advised Nigerian political leaders to rule with the fear of God and expressed regret that political leaders once elected forsook those that elected them.
The cleric also advised the masses to imbibe the fear of God, and avoid things that will bring destruction and curse to their families and society.
High point of the event was the presentation of a lecture on the fear of God and the slaughtering of ram.
