Ogbuku, Other NDDC Reappointments Will Accelerate Dev – MOSIEND
Renowned mass mobilisation group in the Niger Delta region, Movement for the Survival of Izon Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta (MOSIEND) has said the reappointment of Chief Samuel Ogbuku as the Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will engender even development in the region.
The group also hailed the President for appointing Maj Gen Charles Airhiavbere (rtd.) as the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, EDFA, and Mr Charles Ogunmola, Executive Director, Project, EDP NDDC.
MOSIEND, which described the appointments of the Dr Ogbuku-led management team of the NDDC Board as “ingenious and a masterstroke” to engender speedy development in the Delta region, said the team is competent and capable to deliver on its mandates.
This was contained in a statement by the Eastern Zonal Chairman, MOSIEND, Engr Ibiwari George Dublin Green, and made available to The Tide in Port Harcourt.
“We make bold to say that it is a prudent decision and a right step in the right direction”, the statement stated.
Describing Ogbuku as “a visionary leader, a man with a vision and mission”, he said, “We believe in the ability of Chief Samuel Ogbuku because of his visionary style of leadership, policy and programmes for the Niger Delta region.
“Like Daisy Osborn would say, Always work on being, not on having what you are, you can always have.
“Chief Dr Samuel Ogbuku is a man of vision on a mission with an amplitude of mind and so much to deliver, and a perfect fit for the job.
“We, therefore, pray that God will grant you more abilities and grace to deliver on this mandate reposed on you by the president.
