P-Square Tops List Of Richest Musicians
P-Square has
unarguably emerged the richest musician in Nigeria. This is according to a publication in the internet. Music has been paying heavily in Nigeria for the past ten years as an average Nigerian youth sees music as the quickest means to amass wealth and acquire fame, especially when a good number of artistes have risen from grass to grace over the years, enjoying wealth that can only be imagined by average people.
In music, the popularity of the artistes determine their worth. One of the means of knowing how popular a musician or music is, is by checking out its ‘You tube slat,’ if you have a great stat on your ‘You Tube’ then, you are a great artiste making good money.
The musician’s net worth does not necessarily mean the amount of money he or she has in his bank account, but how much you are worth as in assets base, your works, achievements, and popularity. Album or music sells is not the only means musicians make money, they make more money through “You Tube” partnership, royalties, ring tones, concerts, sponsorships, endorsements and appearances.
These were factored into this rating to come out with this robust, time tested ranking of the richest musicians in Nigeria. It is dynamic as it changes from time to time. One who is on this ranking today may not be here tomorrow.
The following are the names of the richest artistes in Nigeria posted in the social media on 19th of June, 2015.
