Georgeford Nwosu, Man of Peace – Amaechi
Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has described the late former legislator representing Etche/Omuma Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Georgeford Nwosu, as a man who made sacrifices for the sustenance of peace in his community, state and nation.
Governor Amaechi stated this last Saturday during a funeral service in honour of Hon. Nwosu at Umuajuloke in Omuma Local Government Area of the state.
Represented by his Deputy, Engr. He condoled with the family, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, urging his offsprings to take solace in the fact that their father was “a great man,” adding that they should bear in mind that “if we die we die in the Lord and if we live we live for the Lord.”
