Club located at No 2 Sani Abacha Road GRA Phase two, Port Harcourt has remained the night club to beat in Port Harcourt City over the years. It is the gathering point for fun seekers who go there to catch fun and relax in a cossy environment.
Operated by Mrs Mercy Castilo from Amadi-Ama, Okrika, Rivers State Cassablanca has become a haven of fun and relaxation for both the old and young. It was gathered that cassablanca which started operation in 2007 was not designed for a night club or a dancing bar or even a place to stay till the next day but a place to eat good food.
But, today, it has metamorphosed into a leading night club in the fun loving garden city of Nigeria. When The Tide Entertainment visited the place recently, the place was indeed a sight to behold. There is indeed no dull moment inside and out side the club. The activities that take place inside the club is best imagined than seen.
From the gate of the club, you are subjected to a thorough search by fierce-looking bouncers, if you succeed in getting inside the hall then you are on your own.
Apart from listening or dancing to the latest music oozing out from giant loudspeakers you are entertained by young beautiful strip dancers who take their turns to dance and entertain the guests.
After that comes the lap dancers who dance on the laps of men for a curtain sum of money. Some of the dancers even dance nude, at this point heaven is let loose. There is also a sex bazzar that goes on in the hall as some sex hawkers even go as far as soliciting for male attention for specified amount of money.
The beautiful ladies with different sizes of boobs, hips and curves kept moving in and out of their inner chambers to reinforce their strategies to entice and seduce men for sex and most of the men decline to real sex which is more expensive and opt for the lap dance which is cheaper and done in the open.
Heavy drinking and smoking is another aspect of the club life as the guests both male and female gulp down volumes of assorted hot drinks and beer. In short, what happens in this place can be described as the reincarnation of the biblical Sodom and Gomorah.
Despite the fact that this abominable act is alien to the African culture, the reprehensive act continues to proliferate as most clubs in the city and its environ also employs young girls of between 18 and 25 years to attract customers with their bikinis and proactive attires.
The competition is cut throat among night club operators and it is growing in leaps and bounds. This development should be checkmated to restore the sanctity of womanhood before it gets out of hand.
Popular businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, has said that his relationship with singer Davido is beyond money and gossip.
He stated this in a recent interview with BBC Igbo.
“Davido is my friend. He is my in-law; he married Chioma who is from Imo State where I hail from.
“So the relationship I have with Davido is beyond money and gossip,” he said.
DAILY POST reports that Chief Priest disclosed via his Instagram page that his outfit for the wedding of the singer, Davido and his wife, Chioma, in Lagos on Tuesday cost seven million Naira.
The socialite recently appreciated Davido for not “discarding” Chioma.

Famous Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido was spotted among other top artistes at Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour concert in Atlanta, Georgia.
Asake’s performance at his sold-out show at the 17,000-capacity State Farm Arena in Atlanta began on August 16, 2024, and is set to run for 10 days.
In a trending video on social media, Davido appeared backstage with American rapper Quavo to support Asake during the live performance.
Other musicians in attendance included Nigerian hitmaker Zlatan and American rapper Russ Millions.
The Tide’s source reports that Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy’ tour is set to cover six U.S. cities, where he will headline notable venues including Madison Square Garden in New York, the Toyota Center in Houston, and the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Asake’s tour comes just days after the release of his latest hit, ‘Lungu Boy,’ which features several superstars, including Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy, Travis Scott and Brazilian singer Ludmilla.
‘Lungu Boy’ set a new record for the biggest opening week on Spotify Nigeria, garnering 18.9 million streams in its opening week and breaking the previous record of 14.4 million streams held by Davido’s ‘Timeless.’
