Ex-Police Boss Reassures On Security
Ex-Commissioner of Police cum Nye Nwe Ali Alimini 1, Elele Alimini Community, in Emohua Local Government Area , Peter Wobeareri Wagbara, has reassured his people of his determination to provide adequate security of lives and property under his watch as their Monarch.
Wagbara made the statement during his retirement Thanksgiving Service and handing over certificate of return as the dully elected Paramount ruler and Nyewe-Ali- Elele Alimini 1 from the electoral college in the Community on Sunday.
The retired Police boss vowed to sustain the already existing law and order in his Community.
According to him, Elele Alimini ranked the most peaceful community in Emohua Local Government and the entire Ikwerre ethnic nationality.
He also informed that he will leverage on his background as a former law enforcement officer to ensure that stability of peace was experienced in the area.
The Monarch said he has no regret retiring from the service and added that he chosed police among other professions in order to serve his country better.
He use the opportunity to explain that the Hunters Association of Elele Alimini, is dully registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a vigilant group with plans to complement security in the community.
He further promised to reconcile the lingering issues of the Headship of Ohna Elele Alimini, saying that his emergence was a divine intervention.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 16, Bayelsa State, Ben Okolo, also congratulated CP Wagbara on his successful retirement from the Police Force and the honour done him as a Monarch.
To Okolo, such was a rear previlage and a testimony that the former Police Boss did well, not only in the service of the nation, but also to his immediate environment.
The Police AIG, however, called on the people of Elele Alimini to prioritize security and rally round their newly elected Paramount ruler in order to enable him explore his experience for the development of the Community.
Presenting the certificate of return to the Monarch, the Chairman of Elele Alimini Electoral College, Elder Austin Enyika, said the essence was to complement the election conducted on the Paramount ruler and Nyewe-Ali-Elele Alimini 1 sometime in May.
Enyika recalled that the election was keenly contested under peaceful environment wherein Wagbara emerged victorious.
In their separate speeches, Chief Desmond Wosu, KSM; High Chief Damian Enyindah; the Councilor representing Elele Alimini at Emolga Legislative Assembly, Hon. Sylvanus Ekweme Dike; among others, expressed joy on the emergence of Eze Wagbara as the Paramount ruler cum Nyewe-Ali-Elele Alimini 1.
