Editorial Wins NAN Table Tennis Tourney
The Editorial department has won the maiden edition of the News Agency of Nigeria Table tennis tournament with three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
The department carted away most of the prizes in both the individual and team events.
The best team event was won by Julius Enehikuere and Aderogba George of the editorial department while Wandoo Sombu of the same department won the women’s singles event.
In the Veteran’s category, the editorial department represented by Enehikuere and Henry Chukwuedo won gold and silver, respectively.
Abdulrahman Balogun, Dorcas Jonah, Idris Abdulrahman and Bamidele Jones won Silver and Bronze medals in the Men’s doubles, Women’s singles and Veteran’s events respectively.
In the other results, the Marketing department came second with a gold, one silver and one bronze in the men’s double, and men’s singles events respectively.
The Technical department came third with a gold medal in the men’s singles event while the Administration and Finance departments, and the Managing Director’s office followed with one silver and a bronze each in the women’s singles and men’s double events respectively.
The maiden edition of competition featured 60 members of staff in the singles, doubles and team events.
