\nFlagging-off the dualization of\u00a0 Oil Mill-Elelenwo-Akpajo road on Friday,
\nWike\u00a0 said\u00a0 that\u00a0 construction\u00a0 of\u00a0 major roads in the state capital\u00a0 will help in the development\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 economy.
\nThe\u00a0 governor\u00a0 said\u00a0 that\u00a0 finance will not\u00a0 be an impediment\u00a0 to the completion\u00a0 of the\u00a0 Oil Mill-Elelenwo-Akpajo road.
\nAccording\u00a0 to\u00a0 the\u00a0 governor,\u00a0 the previous\u00a0 administration\u00a0 played politics with the Oil Mill-Elelenwo-Akpajo,\u00a0 deliberately\u00a0 refusing\u00a0 to\u00a0 construct\u00a0 the\u00a0 major road.
\nHe said :\u00a0 \u201dIt is\u00a0 our priority\u00a0 to give Port Harcourt\u00a0 City\u00a0 a new outlook.
\n\u201cI decided\u00a0 that\u00a0 Julius\u00a0 Berger\u00a0 must\u00a0 construct this road as a message\u00a0 to\u00a0 those who\u00a0 thought\u00a0 they were punishing\u00a0 the\u00a0 people\u00a0 of\u00a0 Elelenwo \u201c, Wike said.
\nThe governor\u00a0 called\u00a0 on\u00a0 the\u00a0 communities\u00a0 hosting\u00a0 the project\u00a0 to support\u00a0 the\u00a0 construction\u00a0 giant to deliver\u00a0 the\u00a0 project\u00a0 within the\u00a0 agreed date.
\nHe also advised\u00a0 Julius\u00a0 Berger\u00a0 to engage members of the community\u00a0 in areas where their services\u00a0 will be\u00a0 needed.
